Sudan clash must win for Super Eagles – Captain Nduka

The captain of the Super Eagles’ CHAN team, Junior Nduka, has expressed the team’s readiness to go all out for a win against Sudan.

The home-based side lost 1-0 to defending champions Senegal in their first game at the ongoing 2024 African Nations Championship.

The West Africans occupy the bottom spot in Group D with zero points.

Another defeat will see the West Africans exit the competition at the group stage.

Nduka is, however, unshaken with the task ahead of the team, and is confident they will come out with a win.

“We want to take each game as it comes, and next for us is Sudan. The previous game was a setback and not a disaster. We have a point to prove and we are ready to correct our mistakes”, he told thenff.com.

The match comes up on Tuesday at Amman Stadium, Zanzibar, 6pm Nigerian time.
