The Controller General of Corrections, Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, has ordered a thorough investigation and directed an immediate search to recapture the fleeing inmates

Nwakuche assured that no staff member found culpable in the escape will be spared.

“The Nigerian Correctional Service is working tirelessly to recapture the remaining inmates and has urged the public to remain calm, vigilant, and report any suspicious movements or sightings to the nearest security formation

“The Service reassures the public of its commitment to public safety and the security of all custodial facilities nationwide”.
