Eid-El-Kabir: AFFOSA President calls for moderation

(Emeka Paschal)  The President of the Abuja Frozen Fish/Food Sellers Association (AFFOSA), Alhaji Muhammadu Salifu Abdullahi, has issued a Sallah message to members and Nigerians, emphasizing the importance of moderation and unity during the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

He made the assertions during an interview with some select Journalists, in Abuja, on Wednesday.

According to Abdullahi, members should prioritize celebrating with the will and involvement of God, while also being mindful of the economic realities facing many Nigerians.

He urged members to maintain affordable prices for their goods, promote unity and friendliness, and abide by the law.

Abdullah’s message serves as a reminder to AFFOSA members and Nigerians to build a more resilient and compassionate society that benefits everyone.

“By embracing moderation and unity, Nigerians can ensure that the Sallah celebrations is a time for joy, reflection, and connection with others,” he said.

“Let us celebrate Sallah with the will and involvement of God, while being mindful of our customers’ economic challenges.”

“Moderation is key to ensuring that we start anew after the festivities with renewed vigor and purpose. Let us promote unity and friendliness by associating with other religious bodies and abiding by the law.”
