Aston Villa have announced the signing of Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho on loan.
Sancho is aiming to revive his career after a miserable time at Old Trafford, having also been loaned out last season to Chelsea.
Villa and United made a breakthrough in talks which has resulted in the 25-year-old joining Unai Emery’s side.
He will hope to enjoy the same upturn in fortunes as Marcus Rashford did when sent on loan to Villa Park from United last season when deemed surplus to requirements by Ruben Amorim.
Sancho’s contract with United is up next summer, although they have the option to extend it by an additional year.
Joining Sancho at the club is former team-mate Victor Lindelof, who was also signed on deadline day.
