Ondo State Woos Investors to Boost Tourism Sector

Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has reiterated his administration’s commitment to promoting cultural and eco-tourism in the state.

The Governor made this known when he received members of the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) at the Government House in Akure, according to a statement by Prince Ebenezer, CPS to the Governor, on Saturday.

Dr. Aiyedatiwa highlighted the state’s achievements in infrastructure development, security, and ease of doing business, emphasizing that these efforts are part of a broader vision to attract local and foreign investors.

He noted that the state has invested heavily in improving access routes and upgrading the airport to support tourism-driven growth.

The governor expressed his administration’s willingness to partner with investors to unlock the state’s tourism potential. He commended NATOP for choosing Ondo State as part of their national familiarization tour and pledged continued government support for such initiatives.

The President of NATOP, Hajia Bolaji Mustapha, praised the governor’s visionary steps towards promoting tourism and creating a friendly atmosphere for investors. She commended the state’s serene and secure environment, citing the Araromi Beach in Ilaje Local Government Area as one of the finest in the country.
