NASS New Media Forum Hails Rawlins Agada’s Appointment as Senate Clerk

The National Assembly New Media Forum (NANMF) has extended warm congratulations to Mr. Rawlins Agada Emmanuel on his appointment as Clerk of the Senate.

During a courtesy visit led by its Chairman, Mr. Clement Nwabuko, the Forum presented a congratulatory card to Mr. Emmanuel at the National Assembly Complex, commending his dedication and long-standing service to the legislature.

Nwabuko described the appointment as “well-deserved,” noting that it is a testament to Mr. Emmanuel’s hard work, professionalism, and commitment to public service. He emphasized that the appointment is not just a personal achievement but also a recognition of Mr. Emmanuel’s years of diligent service to the National Assembly.

The NANMF Chairman highlighted Mr. Emmanuel’s supportive role during the Forum’s inauguration in 2019, when he was Director of Information, laying a solid foundation for the new media professionals covering the National Assembly. Nwabuko assured Mr. Emmanuel of the Forum’s solidarity and commitment to ensuring his success in his new position.

“Your contributions at the time laid a solid foundation for what has now become a vibrant platform for new media professionals covering the National Assembly. We will continue to appreciate your support and encouragement”, he stated.

Mr. Mari Mohammed, Chief of Staff to the Senate Clerk, received the journalists on behalf of Mr. Emmanuel, expressing gratitude for the kind gesture and assuring them of continued support and cooperation in strengthening the relationship between the Senate management and the media.

He urged the journalists to continue carrying out their duties professionally and in line with the ethics of journalism.
