Nigerian singer, Iyanya, originally called Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, has stated that mediocre artists in Nigeria’s music industry will soon be separated from truly talented ones.
Iyanya assured that, despite the apparent glorification of mediocrity in the industry, real talent will ultimately triumph.
Taken to his X handle, he wrote, “At the end of the day, we will separate the wack artists from the real ones”.
Spark News Naija reports that this is coming amidst concerns of overdependence on auto-tune and songwriters, resulting in mediocre practices.
