Senator Ned Nwoko has accused his wife, Regina Daniels, of drug and alcohol abuse, claiming it’s the root of their marital problems.
He alleges she’s been violent, destroying property and assaulting staff, and has named two individuals, Sammy and Ann, as her alleged drug suppliers. Nwoko claims Regina refused to continue her rehabilitation program and instead moved to a place where she can access drugs freely.
He expressed fear for her safety if she doesn’t continue treatment.
In a Facebook post, Nwoko said, “Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem. She must continue her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and safety.”
The lawmaker also claimed that Regina threatened to kill their resident nurse for exposing her alleged drug use.
Regina Daniels had earlier posted a viral video accusing Nwoko of domestic violence, saying, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a queen. Not again, I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.”
Her brother, Sammy West, also accused Nwoko of assaulting Regina and vowed to defend her.
As of now, Regina Daniels hasn’t issued an official response to Nwoko’s claims.
