Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, the Director General of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has felicitated with the Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
In a statement by the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations, Mrs Caroline Embu, on Thursday 6th June 2025, the NYSC Boss charged the fellow Muslim’s brothers and sisters to endeavour to reflect on the true significance of the Eid, which embodies selflessness, compassion, and the willingness to make sacrifices for peace and the overall development of society.
The statement reads in parts: “I heartily felicitate with the Muslim faithfuls in the NYSC family on the occasion of this year’s Eid-El Kabir celebration.
“In view of this, I further urge you to use the occasion of this year’s celebration to re-commit yourselves to the teachings of the Holy Prophet and strive to emulate his unwavering faith, obedience and dedication to the service of God and humanity, starting with your selfless service to the NYSC and your various host communities.
“I wish you all joyous celebrations.
“Eid Mubarak!”
