FG extends closing date for paramilitary recruitment

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended the application deadline for its ongoing recruitment into the paramilitary services by one week.

The recruitment portal, initially set to close on August 4, 2025, will now remain open until August 11, 2025.

According to the Board’s Secretary, Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril, this extension aims to provide additional opportunities for applicants seeking to join the paramilitary services.

The CDCFIB emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free of charge and reiterated its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent selection process. Applicants are reminded to use the official portal at (link unavailable) to submit their applications.

The Board warned against fraudulent platforms and intermediaries promising employment slots for a fee.

This development allows more time for interested candidates to apply for positions in the Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Correctional Service.

The CDCFIB oversees recruitment into these key paramilitary services, ensuring standardized human resource management across the agencies
