Badaru, Malian Defence Minister Meets to Deepen Collaboration

Nigeria’s Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has visited the Malian Defence Minister,General Sadio Camara, to strengthened bilateral defence cooperation as well as deepening collaboration on regional peace and security initiatives in Bamako Mali

The Minister visited his Malian counterpart while in the country to attend the maiden edition of the Bamako International Defence and Security Exhibition (BAMEX 2025).

A statement on Thursday by Mati Ali, Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Minister, said Badaru was warmly received by General Camara, alongside senior officials of the Malian Armed Forces, at the Military Wing of the Bamako International Airport.

The reception featured a colourful parade mounted in honour of the Nigerian Defence Minister.
