Dr. Edache Okoh Adigwu, the outgoing President of the Ministry of Defence Staff Agricultural Cooperative Society (MODACS), delivered a valedictory address at the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Abuja on Wednesday 19th November, 2025.
At the event held at Dr. Ezekiel Oyemomi Auditorium, Ministry of Defence Headquarters, Dr. Adigwu reflected on six years of transformative achievements despite challenges.
In his farewell remarks, the outgoing MODACS President expressed gratitude to God and members for the rare opportunity given to him to lead.
Dr. Adigwu, who served since March 2019 and was re-elected in 2022, highlighted significant growth in membership, innovation, investments, and member benefits.
“In these six consecutive years, we were able to make tremendous achievements in innovations, investments, ingenuity, management, and benefits,” he said.
The Cooperative observed a minute of silence for late General Secretary Mr. Umoren Ekpeno, whose contributions were praised.
Adigwu urged members to support the incoming administration, emphasizing unity and continuity as key to sustained progress.
