The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has taken disciplinary action against 76 personnel, including senior officers, for various offences such as gross misconduct, insubordination, and acts unbecoming of a superior officer.
This was contained in a statement by CSC Afolabi Babawale Anipr, National PRO, Abuja on Wednesday 18th December, 2025.
The Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, announced that 38 senior officers, including an Assistant Commandant General, have been dismissed, while others have been demoted or issued warning letters.

He also highlighted the Corps’ achievements under his leadership, including clearing promotion arrears, introducing career progression courses, and implementing a life insurance compensation scheme for bereaved families.
Prof. Audi stressed that the NSCDC would not tolerate truancy, indiscipline, or violation of extant laws and codes of conduct, and urged officers to remain focused on their statutory responsibilities.
